  I worked here for a month or so some years back. The owners were amazing and,though my stay was unfortunately short, I will always remember my stay. The food was top notch and prepared with heart by a cook who put his soul into his dishes. I miss this place.

  A very neat and cosy little pub in a beautiful little village. Great drinks, magical beer garden. Feel right at home as soon as you walk in.

  Excellent food. I had a sirloin of beef with creamed kale and pomme anna. The beef was cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were truly delicious. The atmosphere and decor are great. Would love to go back next time I'm in the area.

  We went for a quick bite for lunch and we were so impressed that we came back for dinner and we were not disappointed. The lamb kofta at lunch was beautifully moist, cooked to perfection and tasted delicious as was the tomato and mozzarella sandwich. Dinner was exquisite. Garlic king prawns to start followed by rack of lamb and trio of chocolate brownie, chocolate mouse and chocolate chip ice cream. I can't remember the last time I had a meal as lovely as this with such attentive and lovely staff who squeezed in even without a booking. Throughly recommended.
